EDITD connects fashion, luxury and apparel people with the data they need to make better decisions.
Businesses that need to understand consumers and the marketplace for fashion, accessories and apparel use EDITD to help them price products, know when to discount, understand what's selling and interpret what consumers are saying.
EDITD is factual information that's local and global; not just inspiration. That kind of information is now essential for businesses to grow in the evolving fashion industry.
Geoff Watts and Julia Fowler founded EDITD in London in 2009. They started the company because Julia was frustrated with the way the fashion industry was making decisions without concrete data, which led to a lot of mistakes, discounts and disposals. She approached Geoff, an expert at getting results out of huge amounts of data, and together they figured out a way to change fashion.
As a former fashion designer, Julia was frustrated with the industry’s lack of factual data. She started to dream of a product combining the mass of industry data available online, to address the holes in traditional forecasting cycles. Two short years later, EDITD was born.
Geoff's background in big data began way before the term "big data" was even coined. Because we process more data at EDITD than anyone else in the fashion business, his experience is essential. Geoff invents amazing tools from new technology with a great team of people, and he's on a mission to make EDITD into the definitive real-time resource for the industry.

Emily studied Fashion Textiles design with Business at Brighton University, specialising in knitwear. On graduating she moved to New York where she spent three years designing for the American high-street. She previously worked with both TSE and Yellow Minnow. She now keeps chickens and still loves knitting.
